How To Cope With Stress

“It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.”  Mahatma Gandhi

Good health is like an art work in progress. You approach painting the same way you create good health.

The best formula for both painting and great health is step by step

9 Steps to a Stress Free Life

Step 1: The Blank Canvas

Trust that there is no failure. Every day you start with a blank canvas a chance to create your health anew. Even if you have failed in the past to improve your stress level, this is a new chance.

Step 2: Tone your canvas

The effects of stress tend to build up over time. Taking time to build a foundation of good health practice will help you in the future. Set up a support system. Surround yourself with people who can provide emotional inspiration and support. Avoid dwelling on the problems of creating your artwork. At the beginning of creating a new plan is not the time to be arguing for your limitations.

Step 3: Pick your color scheme

Find ways that soothe you and that helps you feel an inner harmony. Try coping programs, like meditation, yoga, taichi, or walking.

Just 30 minutes per day of gentle exercise can help boost your mood and reduce stress.

Step 4: Find passion with your subject

That means you need to find a reason for feeling good and free of stress. Think about how you will feel when you wake up feeling good and start you day knowing that you will be on top of any challenge you might meet. Visualize what your life will look like without rushing and struggling.

Step 5: Paint with rhythm

Rhythm is felt, not understood. To develop an awareness of how you feel will help you develop rhythm. You need to truly see yourself in order to notice discover your level of stress. Are you relaxed, or tense?   Once you realize at what level of stress you are experiencing you can start to shift. Put on some music, move your body to the beat.

Step 6: Know doubt will pass

At this stage when problems seem too huge to overcome, and stress is settling in trust that this is just a stage. Every creative act goes through the doubt gap where you just need to keep your motivation going. Be willing to stretch beyond your comfort zone. This will feel stressful and scary at first but if you are willing to try new solutions, new opportunities for lighting up your stress level will show up.

Step 7: Turn the canvas upside down

When painting a painting an artist will turn the canvas upside down to see really see. This act will fool the brain into seeing the bigger picture. We are often so tied up in knots about the small things or details we forget how everything really looks. The next time you feel overwhelmed, stressed, or anxious look at the bigger picture see how the universe always has your back and is supporting you. Seeing the miracle of your life path and how it is unfolding.

Step 8: Tweak until feels right

Be willing to make mistakes. The book “the talent code” tells us that with people who have talent have a common pattern and it has to do with the fundamental ways the brain acquires skill. Skill comes from the combination certain methods of training, motivation, and coaching until the way you show up in the world feels right on target.

Step 9: Sign and go get another canvas

Take decisive action sign the canvas. You’ve got to take action. This is where you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the choices in your life and you have chosen to live stress free. Widening your perspective about living stress free and the resulting new opportunities that show up will make your life over into a life that you will enjoy. Experience a life of ease, and flow instead of struggle.

In Summary, It may take time for you to find the right way to have a stress free life but the rewards are worth your effort. You will have a beautiful work of art titled “A Life Well Lived”
