The Battle Painting#2 in the Covid-19 series
In this painting, there are two warriors who are ready for battle.  I see strength and confidence in their eyes. They are essential and will do what it takes to win this battle.
 
Have you ever wondered how life all fits together? As I create art, I see exciting truths, concepts, and funny coincidences come together before my eyes like a jigsaw puzzle.
As I paint, a story comes together in a way that feels exciting. I laugh and smile at my painting as I pass it on my easel. Every work of art has a reason for existing for the artist and the viewer.

These three paintings, called the “Covid-19 Healing Series,” started in January 2020, while in Mexico at a retreat hosted by #JesseReno and #MelissaMonroeReno at the #HaciendaMosaicoPuertoVallarta. The paintings were a puzzle to me as the colors swirled out on my paper, but I knew something was important.

I finished the series when I returned home to the Northwest, USA, and the meaning of the series became apparent as the planet shut down with a pandemic called Covid-19.

I title the first painting “Covid-19 Bubble Arrives”.
I call the second painting “The Warriors.”
I titled the third painting, “The Healing.”
