Four Great Health Habits
Tip One: Momentum
Get in the habit of moving your body and making exercise a priority. Exercise and movement is not an option. It is a requirement for good health. One practice I have is to make a cup of coffee in the morning and then just walk out the door with my coffee and sip it on a morning walk. The walk stimulates my thinking and clears my mind for the day. I also practice yoga 4 times a week and work out at the gym about three times per week.
“Those who have no time for exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness.” Edward Stanley
Tip Two: Let Food Be Your Medicine
Keep your food balanced and buy organic when possible. I follow a very simple plan and it works to keep me feeling good and balanced.
3 protein servings
Tip Three: Purchase an Apple Watch or another tracking device.
I love my Apple Watch I purchased about six months ago and it has greatly improved my fitness routine. The watch reminds me when to drink water, how many steps I have taken during the day and how well I have been sleeping. By keeping track of my health habits I have been more aware of how I can improve my health and that inspires me to do better and better each day.
Tip Four: Thoughts
Leading scientific labs have proven that thoughts effect healing. Deepak Chopra has been quoted as saying we have as many as 60,000 thoughts daily. and these thoughts can be positive or negative. Your thoughts then form a pattern or a habit that effects the body.
If you shift your awareness of the journey of a thought this will get more clear to you. The brain first receives a thought and that is sent to the body and ends up in your cells. I am sure you have hear of spontaneous healing or the idea of mind over matter. Your thoughts invoke chemical reactions in the brain called neuropeptides. Your thoughts are very powerful and by changing them so they serve you better you will greatly benefit.
In Conclusion, Great health is worth all the effort you put into a good practice of healthful eating, exercising and thinking positive thoughts.
